Like all her books, Tami Hoag knows how to draw the reader into the story and keep their interest. I find there are no parts of the book where my interest is lost and I am tempted to do something else. I find it hard to put the book down and have to finish it as quickly as possible, which means I end up having at least one more to move onto when I do finish it. Her writing is absolutely riveting!
Good read and entertaining! I could have done without so much romance. It was just a bit much for such an intense story line. Definitely will read next book!
I'm a fan of Tami Hoag books. I like most of them. I found this to be not one of her better works (for me personally). The character jumping was fine, but I found the descriptions of thoughts and emotions and possible background for Megan (and a bit for Mitch too) to be really repetitive and not really character building. I felt the book dragged a bit with not much in the way of progression. AND this book has a sequel, which must be read if you want the ending of the story.
I was hoping for a good outcome but the story was way too long. After awhile I skimmed to the end.
decent romance novel with a rather weird ending .it was like I have 4 pages to end it and was running out of ink .the husband was a bit much but todays people yaneverknow.. hoag's early writings not near as good as now stories ..am into part 2 of series to finish the novel . ps the press vs law enforcement very close to today
A suspenseful and tense story that will stay with you long after you've finished reading it. Another interesting series to read late into the night....
I found it hard to get all of the characters into place so the book went slow for me but about a quarter of the way through but then it got intriguing and it had me captured to the end and the way it ended made me mad because I wasn't done then I realized there was a part 2 book the only thing there is the book ended with the boy being returned and part 2 started out no one knowing the boy was returned and then it went over the fact he was returned and where the other book left off repeating some of it over again and then it got me again because of other things going on at the same time. Definitely something to read if you like mystery. I like Tami Hoag's books and have read and enjoyed many of them. She is a good author with a good imagination.
